okay

It’s funny how the word “okay” could be both comforting and terrifying at the same time. But words function that way, don’t they? Sometimes, words aren’t exactly what we want them to be. Like how one word could mean differently in another place and time. That’s why it’s weird, for a word such “love” to be a universal feeling but none of us could explain it. And it’s funny, for an idea as universal as “love” to have different meanings on different people. What’s funnier and altogether amazing is that there are eight billion people in the world trying to define it and somehow, two people–out of certain circumstances–find their meanings aligning with the other. And perhaps, it’s okay to not be able to define it. It only means you can never get it wrong and really, who wants to be wrong about love?
